Anthony Porto, MD, MPH, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician, pediatric gastroenterologist, Spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and Co-author of The Pediatrician’s Guide to Feeding Babies and Toddlers. He is an associate professor of pediatrics and associate chief of pediatric gastroenterology at Yale University and Medical Director of Pediatrics at Greenwich and Ambulatory Operations for Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. He is also the medical director of the Yale Pediatric Celiac Program. He sees patients in Greenwich, Norwalk, and New Haven, Connecticut. He has won numerous awards, including the Norman J. Siegel Award at Yale University in 2015 for leadership and providing outstanding clinical care, as well as Physician of the Year during his time at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York at Columbia University.
He has been named Castle Connolly Top Doctors since 2012 and in 2021 was named one of the top pediatric GI physicians in Connecticut Magazine. He is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology's Public Education Committee and writes web-based educational materials. Anthony is interested in nutrition, especially in the care of children with difficulty gaining weight, feeding issues, and celiac disease. He loves teaching and educating parents and gives lectures to parents throughout Connecticut. While writing his first book on infant and toddler nutrition, he was learning first hand the ins and outs of fatherhood as he cared for his newborn son.

Christina B. Berberich, PharmD, MPH, RD is currently Vice President of Regulatory and Safety at Bobbie, an infant formula start-up based in San Francisco, CA.
She began her career at WIC where she developed a passion for supporting families during their feeding journeys with their little ones. While completing graduate programs in both pharmacy and public health at University of Illinois at Chicago she spent time in the FDA’s Office of Constituent Affairs. She then joined Abbott Nutrition Regulatory Affairs supporting the Similac portfolio notification activities with FDA. Next, she joined OLLY, a dietary supplement company, and built a regulatory department to support the brand's massive scale up. Most recently she joined one of the newest infant formula companies in the US, Bobbie, leading compliance, safety and supporting the development of products. She lives in the California Bay Area with her husband and son.

Dina DiMaggio, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician, spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and Co-author of The Pediatrician’s Guide to Feeding Babies and Toddler. She sees patients at Pediatric Associates of NYC, one of the oldest pediatric practices in Manhattan, and is a clinical instructor at NYU Langone Medical Center. She has received numerous research awards, along with Patient’s Choice Award (2008 to 2012) and compassionate doctor recognition (2010, 2012).
She was listed in 2014 and 2015 as a New York Rising Star, as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Pediatrics from 2019-2021, and as a NY Super Doctor from 2016 to 2021. She is dedicated to educating parents and fellow pediatricians on baby and toddler nutrition and regularly gives talks New York City and Connecticut. Dina currently lives in NYC with her husband and two daughters.

Shira Page, RN, NP, CLC, is Bobbie’s Medical Team Lead. Her career has centered on improving people's clinical care in their most challenging moments. She studied nutrition and dietetics, followed by a Masters in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Her clinical expertise is in endocrinology, women’s health, and weight medicine. She worked as a nurse practitioner at Mount Auburn Hospital, focusing on endocrine concerns during pregnancy and postpartum.
After becoming a parent, she saw firsthand the challenges of infant feeding and became a certified lactation counselor (CLC). Before joining Bobbie, Shira served as a Medical Director at a continuing medical education (CME) company, designing clinician education to improve patient outcomes. She lives outside of Boston with her husband and two daughters.

Amna Husain, MD, IBCLC is a board-certified pediatrician, Spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), board certified lactation consultant, private practice owner, and Bobbie Medical Advisor. Dr. Husain lives in NJ with her family and is a strong believer that pediatricians are the cornerstone of helping parents and families raise the next generation and that our children deserve the best care. Her pediatric philosophy inspired her to create her own concierge pediatric practice and use her voice to not only educate but also empower parents with knowledge and evidence based pediatric medicine. As a millennial parent herself, Dr. Husain loves delivering meaningful advice and attention to not just her patients and families, but also educating her followers on social media where she's active on Instagram and Tiktok (@dr.amnahusain).

Doctor Jacq has been in practice for 20 years in Southern California, where she has held many leadership positions, most recently as Hospital Chief-of-Staff and Member of the Board of Directors. Highly accomplished, she was selected as a Top Pediatrician by the International Association of Pediatricians: Leading Physicians of the World in 2018. Leanne Redman, PhD, FTOS, is a professor at Pennington Biomedical Research Center within the Louisiana State University System where she is the Chief Academic Officer and directs the Reproductive Endocrinology and Women’s Health Research Program and the Maternal and Infant Nutrition Core Laboratory. Dr. Redman directs a million-dollar research portfolio that is focused on how lifestyle, in particular nutrition and physical activity, influence body composition and energy metabolism. For the past decade she has adapted state of-the-art nutrition assessments for pregnant women and infants to study how a mothers' health during the prenatal period impacts the intergenerational transmission of obesity.
Her research is at the forefront of developing and testing novel nutrition and lifestyle interventions using smartphone apps to enhance the compliance of individuals to national dietary and exercise guidelines. Her work has produced more than 200 research articles. Dr. Redman holds a Ph.D. in Physiology and OBGYN from the University of Adelaide in Australia and completed 4 years of post-doctoral training at Ohio University and Pennington Biomedical Research Center. Dr. Redman participated in The National Academies Nutrition During Pregnancy and Lactation: Exploring New Evidence Workshop in 2020 bringing her expertise in dietary carbohydrates and energy.

Pedro Prieto, PhD, MA, MS is a nutrition scientist, infant formula industry veteran, and Bobbie Medical Advisor. He has been a member of the faculties of Monterrey Tech, and the University of Georgia and held an honorary chair at the Autonomous University of Queretaro in Mexico. He holds PhD, and MS degrees in Biochemistry and Nutrition and a MA on Administration of Higher Education Institutions. Pedro’s career in industry has been focused on pediatric and clinical nutrition and the development of functional molecules. His teams have launched several infant formulas through the years and is credited with leading the first synthesis, product design and clinical trial of human milk oligosaccharides for pediatric nutrition.
Pedro’s 40th year marriage anniversary was in October of 2020; his wife and he have two children and a 6 year-old grandson. He says: “Feeding your kids or grandkids a formula that your team developed impacts you with a feeling of high responsibility and appreciation for the privilege of working in pediatric nutrition.”

Alyssa completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences through Pennsylvania State University followed by an accredited 1200 hour dietetic internship with an emphasis in Nutrition Informatics through the University of Maryland.

Dr. Bridget Young is a pediatric nutritionist, mom of 2, Certified Lactation Counselor, and founder of BabyFormulaExpert.com. She studied Maternal and Child Nutrition at Cornell University where she received her PhD. She then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Nutrition at the University of Colorado. Today she is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester where she conducts clinical research among breastfeeding mothers and their infants.
Bridget Young's research interests are on the impact of obesity and insulin resistance on breast milk composition, and resultant programming effects in the infant. She particularly focuses on the effect of oral insulin in human milk on infant pancreatic function and intestinal maturation in the neonate. Dr. Young also participates in research focused on providing breastfeeding support for mothers with insulin resistance.
